Brief Answer:
Get x-rays done.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have read your query.
Pain in legs and
thigh numbness can be due to many reason e.g degenerative disc diseases etc. For proper diagnosis to be made you need to get x-ray lumbo-sacral spine done in AP and Lateral view done and discus it with orthopedic surgeon. He will do your physical examination and act accordingly. If he needed he may advise you
MRI scan to know the present condition of your disc, nerves and
soft tissue.
Till then avoid heavy weight lifting pushing and pulling heavy objects, because it will further increase
back pain.
- You can take medicine like
aceclofenac + thiocolchicoside relaxants by discussing it with your doctor. These are stronger pain-killers which are available on prescription only. You can try
ibuprofen till you see your doctor.
- Apply hot packs for 30 min in morning and evening .
I hope it helps.
