
What Causes Painful Spasms In Neck, Head And Right Ear?

Question: Feeling pulsating minor painful spasms, ever 30 seconds for 5 hours. Location is my back right neck where it joins head, one inch from my right ear. Never had them before. Like having hiccups you cannot stop. I do not have a headache - never get them. Diagnosed with borderline low blood pressure 122/64 two weeks ago. In life, never had diastolic number below 75. Dieted and lost 20 pounds in last 7 months. Dehydrated for last year (36 oz. liquids/day). Not a hypochondriac. Ph.D with some medical background Gerontology). Age 68 Good health.
