Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing in
Need some more information to come to a conclusive impression
How long has the swelling been there ?
What is the consistency ?
Does it remain there or reduces while lying down ?
Any history of previous surgery in same region ?
Any associated bowel or urinary symptoms ?
Best impression can be arrived at after an ultrasound examination of the swelling
Revert back with the information and the report

I just noticed it about a week ago. It is firm. It is only visible when lying down. I have gained about 15 pounds over the past 6 months. I hate the way my stomach looks bloated! I have had 2 c-sections in the past 10 years. I have frequent urination but no pain.
Brief Answer:
Ultrasound will be confirmatory
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing in again
The information points to an abdominal wall soft tissue swelling
As a hernia after C Section would reduce while lying down
Except that it is irreducible
I would suggest you get an ultrasound done. In the interim send me a picture of the swelling in standing position and while lying down.
Hope this helps.
Regards
