What Causes Pain, tingling And Numbess On Chin, nose And Cheek?

Question: HI...I am 53 yrs. old and believe I have develop bi-lateral trigeminal neuralgia (atypical form) from taking a lot of Ambien over the course of over a year. I have stopped the ambien about a month ago...but I continue to get pains, tinglingling and numbess in my chin, nose and cheek; my upper and lower teeth ache on and off...I get electric little shocks into my eyelids, and my upper lids have strong twitches. I have pain going into both sinuses by my eyebrows...rubbing my brows makes my eyes twitch and cheek twith. Worst is the stabbing knife pain from the nerves on the sides and top of my head. It feels like something is sticking in there...and then radiates into my sinus area casusing terrible headaches...and it switches from left to right. My ears also have a fullness and fluttering sound in them. Question: If this was caused by the Ambien, will something like this resolve over time on its own?
Brief Answer:
Not trigeminal neuralgia
Detailed Answer:
Dear
i am sorry for the symptoms you are suffering.
It is not known that ambien can cause trigeminal neuralgia and the symptoms you are suffering dont seems those of trigeminal neuralgia.
I suggest you to drink as much water as possible during day.
I think that your symptoms will go way after some more days, dont start ambien again.
Wish you all the best

Thank you doctor. My body revs up during the day...almost like I'm sticking my finger in an outlet...and that is when the nerves start firing most and going into my head and face and eyes, lips, ears and chin. I can scratch my scalp and cause a cascade of electicaly activity to flow and it makes everything worse. It's all the nerves in my face and scalp...isn't that the 3 branches of the TriGeminal nerve? At night, I wake up XXXXXXX my entire body is vibrating with electrical activity shooting into my head and face...but also down my arms and legs...and I'm in a pool of sweat. This goes on every night.
Brief Answer:
Not trigeminal nerve
Detailed Answer:
Dear
You can sure yourself by doing a brain MRI but you have to understand that the symptoms are exactly those of interrupting suddenly ambien after using it for a long time.
Dear there is nothing which you can do right know, just wait some more days.
I don't reccomend to use any other medication right know, avoid caffeine drinks.
Do worry, you will be fine.
Best regards
