What Causes Passing Of Gas And Stomach Cramps During Night?

Question: I am having increased gasiness and stomach cramps flaring up during the night and next morning. What should I do?
Brief Answer:
It can be treated
Detailed Answer:
Hi
First, you should not eat 4 hours prior to sleeping. Also, avoid carbonated drinks, high sugar juices, alcohol, coffee and food that is known to cause bloating such as bean. Avoid overeating, eat more common but smaller meals. Avoid long sitting or laying after meal. Drink cleaner water. Lose weight if overweight and have physical activity.
You should drink cup of mentha tea before sleep. Also try to sleep with elevated upper body and on your left side.
If there is associated stomach burning or pain then you need medications such as ranitidine or pantoprazole. If nothing helps, then you need to do gastroscopy to rule out some stomach and bowel disorders.
Wish you good health.

What does "eat more common meals" mean and is "mentha tea" the same as mint tea?
Brief Answer:
hi
Detailed Answer:
Yes, this is mint tea
The second one means that you should eat more meals during the day(6-8) but these meals should be small and easy. Then our stomach and bowel will digest food easier without making gas, and it will pass faster through our digestion system.
