What Causes Pea-sized Lump On Collar Bone?

Question: I have had a small pea-size lump above my collar bone, close to my shoulder for over 3 years now with zero change whatsoever and no pain. Should i be worried?

I appreciate your concern

The lump needs to be examined. If there is suspicion regarding its consistency then it needs to be biopsied. Even if there is no suspicion on physical exam, one cannot rule out a serious cause such as a malignant cause based alone on physically palpating the lump or node. Treatment and further management options depend on making a histologic diagnosis via biopsy.
