What Causes Pelvic Pain When Diagnosed With Fibroids?
Question: Just wanted some thoughts on what the pain I am having is - i have some pain in my right pelvic region - have had similar pain there before which has been fibroids. But the pain is traveling down the top of my leg. Could this all be from the fibroids? Another explanation?

Hello
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
It could still be from the fibroids, if you were not treated for the ones you had earlier .
Have you undergone any treatment for the same ?
The other reason could be a neuropathy - mainly of the sciatic nerve.
There would not be other major reasons.
All the best.
Please feel free to discuss further.

The fibroids have not been operated on - they are monitored to be sure they do not grow so i should get them checked again. I also have IBS but havent had an attack in a while. Could it be that?

Detailed Answer:
Yes, you should have a look at them again to know whats happening on that front.
Pain from IBS generally does not travel down the leg.
Do you have any associated bowel issue ?
