Brief Answer:
It is likely to be due to bronchiolitis

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

In such a season children of this age often suffer from a viral infection called bronchiolitis which is characterized by wheezing or stridor. Nebulization is the mainstay of treatment. If wheezing is present, nebulize with levolin. Else, nebulize with normal saline (0.9% NaCl solution) 2 ml. Give it several times a day.

The doctor has done the right thing in suggesting Montair for 4 weeks. But I would insist you to give it off and on as per requirement (once daily) rather than continuously.

You have to be patient. This is a very common problem. Be patient. Things would be fine again soon.

Regards
