Brief Answer:
Do not worry

Detailed Answer:
Hi

I understand your concerns but don't worry. Most likely reason for fever spikes in this age group is viral infections. You may give her acetaminophen or advil for fever relief and repeat the dose every 6-8 hours if spikes persist.

Redness of eyes with associated swelling and watering can be due to allergies and associated irritation and rubbing of eyes. You may give antihistamine such as Chlorpheniramine or Fexofenadine for relief. Try to identify the allergens and avoid them in future.

In case the fever spikes and redness of eyes persist even after 48 hours of treatment then do visit a pediatrician for complete clinical evaluation and treatment. Laboratory evaluation such as complete blood counts, C reactive protein, ESR, urine examination will be of use.

Kids are sometimes picky eaters in this age. Do not worry. Just ensure a balanced, healthy and hygienic diet and take her opinion to choose healthy options. Avoid force feeding.

I hope this will be of help. I would be happy to help you in any further questions.
Take care
