What Causes Persistent Lower Abdominal Pain And Rectal Bleeding?
Question: 29 year old female lower abdominal pain for 2 weeks, rectal bleeding last night and today

Rectal bleeding is usually caused by hemorrhoids. Especially is the blood is bright red, not mixed with stool.
If you have also diarrhea, gastrointestinal infection can be the reason.
Lower abdominal pain in most cases is caused by bladder infection. You should have frequent urinating or some burning while urinating with this issues.
Ovaries cyst, uterine inflammation can be also the reason of lower abdominal pain.
I suggest you to have some basic tests done to determine the reason. Blood work, urine analysis and abdominal ultrasound should be done at first. You should consult gynecologist to have transvaginal ultrasound. For rectal bleeding, you should have rectal examination done by a surgeon.
