Question: Hi i have a lump on my scalp its been there 6 months ive been told by doctor no treatment is needed but im still concerned as doctor said it would go away.The lump is not painfull or itchy

If you are talking about the lump that is showing balding the possibilities are:
- Sebaceous cyst if the lump moves with the skin.
- Lipoma if the lump moves free under the skin.

Lipomas do not regress but sebaceous cysts can.
If there are no symptoms you can have a wait and watch policy or better consult a General Surgeon for clinical evaluation, examination and surgery if he thinks is required.
Nothing great to worry in such scalp lump.
