What Causes Persistent Pressure In Head, Hissing Noise In Ears And Muscle Spasms?
Question: For almost five months: pressure inside my head and chest, hissing sound almost like air escaping out of my ears, heaviness like under three times normal gravity, frequent almost unbearable high frequency noise, strange spasms in muscles.
Also probably relevant is a feeling like ice packs are on the base of my spine, frequent but only lasts thirty to forty five minutes. All very alarming but have been waiting for insurance to kick in and praying that it would eventually pass. That is not happening.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.
I read your query and understand your concerns.
Although the provided description is not enough to make a diagnosis but from the available information there is some evidence of psychiatric disorder particularly psychosis.
Presence of hissing sounds may be auditory hallucinations and feelings of ice packs over spine may indicate tactile hallucinations.
I think it will be appropriate to see a psychiatrist as delaying treatment will cause more damage in compare to timely treatment.
I hope this helps you.
Thanks and regards.
