Brief Answer:
probably hemorroids or anal fissures

Detailed Answer:
Hello. I have been through your question and understand your concern.

Colorectal cancer does not present with rectal blood. Generally it is presented with dark stool, caused by the blood and found in the lab test. Rectal bleeding as your doctor said is generally caused by laceration or hemorroids, but for sure from a condition situatied in the distal part of your digestive system . Still, you might consider having an anoscopy to better visualize the anal structures in order to rule out the least possible conditions causing bleeding, like angiomas, polips or ulcers. It should not be a problem. Just follow the fiber based diet because it is very important for your regular intestinal movement since you are susceptible to bleeding.
Hope this helps.

Wish you the best health
