1)Once the giddiness starts, how long does it last-for seconds, for minutes or longer?
2)Any ear related problems like discharge from ear, hearing loss or tinnitus?
3)Is this giddiness associated with any specific neck movements?like,Does this giddiness increase on bending the neck forwards or lateral?
4)Does this giddiness increase on any specific posture?Does this giddiness increase on standing from lying position?
5)Any other medical history like Diabetes,Hypertension or any other chronic illness?
Please follow up with details so that I can answer this well.

2] there is no ear related problem.
3] it mostly begins on the forward down movement.
4] yes it increases on the standing ,sitting positions.
5] There is no medical history ,i have done all the tests which comes out to be normal.
This began last year while i was driving and before that i had a lunch and was feeling very sleepy ,and on the road while driving suddenly my eyes began to move sideways[ corners] on their own this was my first experience.also while driving this occurs when i shift focus from wind screen to long distance object or on the signal slowing down the car or while parking [ driving backward] these incidents follows with fear and perspiration .i had taken medicines prescribed by a neurologist like..VERTIN16,NEUOKIND,RELICALM,NEWCIDA LITE...these i had taken for a month and was feeling okay but sometimes on the road it is unpredictable .I also get little numbness in the arms on the lying position.
Please suggest ..your guidance is needed ...Thanks

Hi xxxxxx,
Thanks for being in follow-up and providing details.
You may be having positional vertigo but neurological examination is must to exclude the neurological etiology for the same.I am sure, you must have been examined by a neurologist. If yes, please upload the documents on which he recorded examination findings.

Cervical spine exercises
Detailed Answer:
Hi xxxxxxxx,
Thanks for being in follow-up.
I have gone through the reports you have uploaded. You've got moderate cervical spine degenerative changes.Your symptoms however, are not representative till yet.
I suggest you to visit a good physiotherapist and learn cervical spine exercises.Do these exercises on regular basis. This will help a lot in long-run and will also improve current symptoms.
Along with, start taking calcium and vitamin D supplementation.
If you don't have further questions, please close the thread, rate it and write a review as your rating will be of help to me.
