Brief Answer:
point to an urinary tract infection

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The pink color may indicate that you are having blood on urination.

This combined with the discomfort when you urinate, would point to an infection of the urinary tract.

Urinary tract infections can involve any area of the urinary tract- urethra (passage leading from the bladder), bladder, ureter (passage from kidneys to bladder) and kidneys.

Diagnosis is based on your symptoms and also an urinalysis at your doctor's office

Treatment involves antibiotics along with copious fluids if it is confirmed.

In some cases, urine is sent to the lab to find out the exact bacterial present but this is usually if there is no response to initial treatment , severe infection or repeated infections.

Antibiotics are used for 5 to 7 days usually

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
