Brief Answer:
Nothing to be concerned...

Detailed Answer:
Hi my dear,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.

There are various causes to plugged eye ducts including:
- chronic inflammation/infection
- trauma/injury
- stones
- malignancies

If your eye specialist put on antibiotics, then, the cause to plugged eye ducts was determined as infection. Treating it only locally is not the only solution; oral/systemic antibiotics can be prescribed as per eye swab culture result.

Next, if antibiotics and local eye cream cannot succeed in fighting infection; then, surgical treatment is advised such as Dacryocystorhinostomy. There is nothing to be concerned. This technique creates a new route for tears to drain out through your nose normally again by developing a new connection between your lacrimal sac and your nose.
There are some stents which will be placed on the new route, and will be taken off 3 to 4 months of healing.

Wish fast recovery!

Brief Answer:
No strict limitations, just follow eye doctor advice

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

There is no strict limitations for this procedure even if you play golf. The eye doctor will give some advice regarding hygiene of the eyes, blowing of nose and meds to use after operation.

Of course, should prevent trauma of face to avoid stent to break.
All the best!
