Question: I am a 68 yo female. In the past months my eyes start tearing towards the end of every meal. What could be the cause?

I have raead your query in detail. Most likely there a block in a duct called the nasolacrimal duct in your case. This duct connects the eyes with the nose and tears drain out into the nose through it.While you chew food due to moment of bones and muscles there is a change of pressure around eye also.This change in pressure may cause obstruction of a incompetent or partially blocked duct.As duct is blocked fully tears start to drain out of eye.
Treatment
(Dacryocystorhinostomy), a hole is created between the tear sac and the inside of the nose.
