What Causes Presence Of Water In The Abdominal Area?

Question: My Mother age 64 name XXX from XXXXXXX (pune) has issue that lots of water in her stomac and one month before dr. took 2 letter and yesterday 4 letter of water and we did PET Test also and Still Dr. not sure what is the way of water? Please help me i have all reports. Me ready to pay your fees.Â

Tuberculosis or malignancy

I am Dr.Barani and I am pleased to assist you.

There are only two possibilities.
1. Abdominal tuberculosis
2. Malignancy

The following tests are to be done -

1. Ascitic fluid analysis
2. Biopsy from the peritoneal thickening
3. Ca 125

These tests will give a clue regarding the cause.
