Brief Answer:
It may be middle ear effusion.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for posting your query here.
I have read your question and understand your problems. I will try my best to answer to your satisfaction.
Ear pain of long duration may be due to uncleared middle ear infection leading to middle ear effusion. It is collection of mucus within the ear drum. Long standing throat pain leading to eustachian tube obstruction is the usual etiology.
I suggest you get done tympanometry to check your middle ear pressure and eustachian tube function.
If they are abnormal, you would be requiring decongestants and mucolytics. There is another option of relieving middle ear pressures by a minor opd surgical procedure. We can keep it as the last option.
Your throat pain may be acid reflux. This presents as burning of the throat in midline. Acid reflux can also mimic as burning in the ears. Increases if you lie down after your food or skip your meal.
Please do not lie down immediately after your meal, give 2-3 hrs gap.
Drink plenty of warm water, avoid coffee, tea and fizzy drinks.
Heavy meal to be avoided. Small meals 3-4 times a day is advisable.
Proton pump inhibitors like omeprazole can be taken for 3 days if symptoms do not reduce.

Hope I have answered your queries satisfactorily. I am available for follow up questions.
