What Causes Pressure In Rectum And Lower Stomach Cramps?
Question: Question is why do I have pressure in my rectum consistently like I need to go but can't? Don't really hurt just feels as if something is there. I have really been depressed for two weeks with this. I went to my doctor going on two weeks tomorrow for lower stomach cramps and diarrhea, and this pressure. She said where I have had IBS it was just that again and gave me hemrroid cream. The cramps stopped a week ago and my poop is back and fourth hard soft. But this pressure that seems to be not very far up my rectum is depressing me I can hardly go anywhere. I'm 32 and have dealt with gas pains IBS since early twentys. Any idea would be appreciated this is making me so scared lately.

Detailed Answer:
First of all, thanks for using our system.
You had diarrhea recently, if still with it, you might need to have stool sample for parasite or bacteria. The rectal pressure could be from irritable bowel or anal sphincter contractions. Internal Hemorrhoids can make you feel like that too. I recommend you to see a gastroenterologist for a sigmoidoscopy to have a visual evaluation of your rectum.
I hope that my advise will be helpful
