What Causes Pressure In The Middle Of Chest?

Also for the last 2 months, I can hear my heart in my right ear. Use to be when I would lean over, now it can go on for hours and even at night when I go to bed.
Also lots of pressure in temporal region on both side of head.
Please tell me who I need to go see. I have fibromyalgia , osteoarthritis, hypothyrodic (mildly), and mildly elevated lymphs and WBC for 3 years now and no one knows why. Also I have swollen lymph nodes in neck, armpits and breast.
Would appreciate any help. XXXXXXX XXXXXXX
A differential diagnosis is necessary.
Detailed Answer:
Hello Teresa!
Thank you for asking on HCM!
It seems that your health conditions are a bit complicated.
First of all, I would like to explain that your chest pain doesn't look like a cardiac related symptom, as its characteristics isn't typical for cardiac ischemia (scattered and migrating). Nevertheless, some lab tests (cardiac enzymes: CK-MB, Troponin) are necessary to confirm such a conclusion.
I would like to suggest, as you are suffering from fibromyalgia, to consider a discussion with your neurologist, for finding the best ways of management such a disorder.
Your lympadenopathy needs a comprehensive differential diagnosis, to rule in/out any possible causative factors, like a hemopathy, neoplastic disease, an infection, etc.
A careful check up by a hematologist would be necessary for properly driving the differential. A careful physical exam, several blood tests, special imagine studies (CT & MRI, etc) and a lymph node biopsy are helpful to identify the responsible factor.
You should also review again your thyroid function status (your GP or internist), to assure that underlying therapy is working fine.
Hope to have been helpful to you!
Feel free to ask me whenever you need! Greetings! Dr. Iliri
