What Causes Pricking Pain In The Throat While Swallowing?

Question: I have a painful pricking sensation in my throat- only on left side with the area being red and soft. ( right behind my tongue). I also have several white painful lines on the inside of my cheek and mouth ulcers on my gums and palate. swallowing is very painfuli also have coughing

Hi Ayush,
Welcome to Health Care Magic and Thanks for your question.
It seems you are having oral thrush along with possibly Tonsillitis.
Ideally you should get examined by an ENT Specialist and start antibiotics.
I would suggest you to have Tab Ceftum 500mg twice a day with Tab Pantoprazole 40mg twice a day on empty stomach. For the oral ulcers you should apply Gelora gel 4 to 5 times a day and take Cap Becosule twice a day for at least two weeks.
But if you could see an ENT Specialist that would be best.
