Brief Answer:
Advice to get an EKG done

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for trusting HealthcareMagic

Excessive sweating can occur due to several reasons.Hypoglycemia is a common cause, which has already been excluded in your case

The most important factor that needs to be ruled out first is a cardiac cause. Diabetic patients may not present with typical symptoms of coronary artery disease like chest pain and sweating may the only symptom.
I recommend getting an EKG, cardiac enzymes, stress test done(if EKG results are normal) to rule out underlying coronary artery disease.
If the above investigations are normal them other possible causes like hyperthyroidism ,menopause symptoms, etc should be looked into as the cause of sweating.

Hope this answers your questions
