What Causes Prolonged Menstrual Bleeding When Diagnosed With Ovarian Cyst?

Question: my sis in law is 45 years old . she has started bleeding from utreus since 15 days back which is not stopping, she showed to two gyneacologists today , het TVS report says she has a cyst in left ovary and endometrium 14.5 thickness , i want to know can she wait for a week for DNC to be performed? one gynea recommended immedieate DNCand biopsy other one gave her medications to stop bleeding and dnc to be done later ,kindly advice what to do? thanks

As her endometrial thickness is more and she is bleeding last 15 days,in my opinion she should go for dnc and biopsy to rule out the cause and it will relieve her bleeding also.
DNC is diagnostic and therapeutic as well.

thanx but i asked a different question as in weather she can wait for a week or should she take medication to stop bleeding

She can start medicine to stop bleeding but she should not wait for a week. ( because as we discuss before DNC is therapeutic also means helpful in stopping bleeding) .
