Brief Answer:
Long term gerd to Barrets Antispasmodic will be helpful

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Dear Ms

Purging is usually associated with colicky abdominal pain it is usually self limiting. I hope your appetite is back to normal. In the absence of fever and blood in stools there is no cause for concern.

I would suggest you the following

1. Have soft diet
2. Avoid caffeinated/carbonated beverages
3. Antispasmodics like Drotaverine will be helpful in relieving pain
4. Antacids: either liquid or oral tablets will be helpful. Combination of Pantoprozole along with Domperidone will be helpful. You can take these medications with primary doctor prescription.
5. Eat small quantity of meals frequently

In meantime you can take any OTC painkillers like Ibuoprofen.

Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Take Care
