Brief Answer:
Appears to be gangrene

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
I am Dr. Prakash HM and I will be answering your query.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows:

1. Turning of feet into purple is a serious problem.
2. It is usually due to loss of blood supply, which is resulting in gangrene.
3. Blood flow evaluation through ultrasound and excision of gangrenous area is necessary.
4. Hope it is completely dry. If there is ulceration along the purple area, serious infection risk will be present.

Do meet your doctor for test and surgery.

Hope it helps.
