Is it normal to feel these pains?
Brief Answer:
It is not normal to feel pains!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for following up with me.
It is never normal to feel pains. However, all pain does not necessarily mean there is an underlying pathology which needs to be addressed. This sis why we often start with mild pain medications and a thorough clinical examination to make sure there is nothing we are missing out on.
This is why I recommend that you get evaluated by your physician. Keep me posted on how this goes. I wish you well.

I have been examined by a dr and the underlying problem is costochondritis . I am in so much pain.
Brief Answer:
What drugs are you on? Do you take blood thinners?
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this follow up precision.
If the diagnosis is costochondritis, the most commonly used medications are ibuprofen and tylenol. I will suggest that you let me know what medications you are taking and how you take them so as to be able to help you.
I will provide more help when I hear back from you. If the drugs are not adapted, I will make suggestions to get the pain better controlled.
I hope to hear back from you.
