Hello,
Thank you for using HCM to post your question.
I read it carefully and I understand your concern.
Can you please upload a photo into our system so I can have a look at the rash?
Do you have in all your body or just in the head?
Any other person living with you have the same rash?
Have you been in contact with children recently?
I am thinking it may be a varicella but will confirm as soon as I look at it.
Looking forward to your follow up question.

It is only on my head and face. On the top of my head, forehead, in my mustache and eyebrows, all over my head and face. I cant figure out on the website how to upload a picture.
Was able to upload a photo. Thank you.
No body else in the house has the rash.
Yes I have been around children. 3young kids in the house 3 - 11 years old.
I believe I already had chicken pox when I was younger.

Brief Answer:
Viral rash most probably

Hello,
Thank you for the follow-up question.
I saw carefully your photo.
It is weired that it is localized only in the head.
The fact that you have had chicken pox when you were a child and the fact that this rash appeared after a fever, I think that it is a viral rash.
I believe its not worse after this one day that has passed since you haven't mentioned it.
So my suggestion is to use an antihistamine medicine for the itchiness and use a steroid cream if the medicine its not enough. It should start being better in 2-3 days. If not better or if worse I would recommend to follow up with me again (with another photo) or see a local doctor.
Have a great New Years eve.
