What Causes Rashes On The Penis When Diagnosed With Sinus Infection?

default
Posted on Wed, 7 Jun 2017
Question: I stated Levequin a week ago for a sinus infection. Within a couple of days, I suddenly developed a rash on the entire end of my penis. I just completed the 7 day course of Levequin. Could the antibiotic have caused the problem -can't ID any other cause. If it did, how long will it take the rash to go away?

Brief Answer:
Please, upload an image for review!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this query.

Yes, rash is a possible side effect of levaquin. If you have never taken levaquin before, this is probably the cause. However, I will like to review the images of this rash to rule out any possible infectious causes.

To upload an image, simply click on the link to upload a file and follow the instructions. If this proves difficult, please send the image by mail to YYYY@YYYY and request that the image should be uploaded to your query.
