What Causes Rashes Throughout The Body?

Question: Hi there, my husband has a rash that looks like chicken pox all over his body. However it's not itchy or sore and he doesn't have any other symptoms.

They are raised but not blistering. It came about in a matter of hours. Is it possible it could be an std?

Hi and thanks for the images. I have now reviewed all of them.

This looks like an allergic reaction and the exact cause is difficult to establish. However, he should review all foods/lotions/sprays/etc that he has used recently to see if any is unfriendly to him.

For now, I recommend dexamethsaone 4mg tablets. Let him take 2tablets(8mg) for 3days and stop. Also, follow up by providing daily images for me to see how the rash is responding to treatment and whether there is need for further medical intervention.

IT IS NOT SUGGESTIVE OF AN STD.
