Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I had gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having raspy voice with swelling at corners of mouth. I would like to ask you few more details.
- Is there any chronic cough or belching or voice abuse ?
Kindly get back to me with the details.
Answers and solutions for your queries.
1. As per your picture, it appears to me normal mucosal fold (corners of mouth). In case of pain or burning sensation, you need to see an ent surgeon for confirmation of infection or nutritional deficiencies.
2. Raspy voice could be due to laryngitis (voice box inflammation), secondary to smoking, voice abuse (shouting or singing) or acid peptic disease or severe cough.
3. I suggest you to do steam inhalation twice daily, maintain absolute voice rest for a week, Start prophylactic antiallergic (over the counter tab.zyrtec) one tab at bed time, avoid consuming freezer products (curd/ice creams/cola) and start multivitamins daily one tab to counter burning sensation in mouth.
Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
Wishing you good health.

Hello again,
Thanks for considering my answer and for your follow up.
Answers.
1. Relax. Cancer of cheek is uncommon in your age. It is a normal mucosal fold. 4 doctors (2 dentists,1 ent and 1 physician) confirmed.
2. Dry lips could be due to dry climate or repeated plucking of crusts or dehydration. Take plenty of water and fluids, apply XXXXXXX water and stop plucking the crusts.
3. Raspy voice, with out external factors (voice abuse) needs to be evaluated with laryngoscopy.
4. Salivary gland infections or stones will cause symptoms like severe pain and swelling below the jaw and fever.
5. Persistent burning sensation needs to be investigated for nutritional deficiencies (vitamin, iron).
All the best. Take care.
