What Causes Reappearence Of Loose Bodies On Knee After Cartilage Rupture Surgery?

Question: Hi there, My brother had cartilage rupture and loose body in his right knee. He had operation, but the loose bodies reappeared in a month or so. Please suggest if this can be cured. Thanks

I have studied your brother's case and being a arthroscopic surgeon my self, I have removed lot of loose bodies from the knee. But I never heared loose body appearing again in such a short time.
I want to see MRI and X rays to know what is the reason of loose body. There is a condition which is called synoviyal osteochondromatosis which causes multiple loose bodies.
I can offer you better advice after study his MRI and x rays.
It is fully curable disease but only once we know the right diagnosis.
I am waiting for his reports.

Thanks for the advice. He was operated 1 year back in XXXXXXX hospital bangalore. I can attach old MRI. is that ok? Please suggest if I can meet in person or suggest any surgeon in hyderabad. Regards
