Treatment For Gap Between Joints In Leg

My mother is having Sevier pain in knees. In X ray, it has been observed that in left leg there is gap between joints. Cartilage between joints has also got eroded. Her age is 56 Yrs, Wt. – 78 Kg & Height is 5’0”. I would like to know whether any alternate treatment is also available apart from knee replacement. Regards Abhishek Verma

In consultation with your treating doctor, if the severity of deformity is not worse you should try physical therapy before knee replacement.
