Bump on nose is commonly due to acne, bacterial, or fungal infection. Picking nose, allergy or a nose piercing can also cause painful bump on the nose. When a scrape, cut, or splinter breaks the skin, the bacteria can enter a hair follicle and start an infection that may become painful. Do not touch, pick or scratch the bump on your nose. Keep your skin clean, you can apply a thin layer of water based moisturizer.
To get relief, you can take a course of antibiotic like doxycycline - 100 orally. You can apply Otrivin nasal drops to ease swelling and allergy. To reduce pain, you can take analgesics, acetaminophen, one SOS when needed.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
