What Causes Recurrent Pain In Left Side Chest, Back And Upper Abdomen?

I am a woman at the age of 35. Since last year july, I got a stomach problem and pain at left upper abdomal. It is on and off. Sometimes i feel pain at my back and left side of chest. At the same time i feel very full or undigestive. I am getting worry whenever i get that feeling. I check with cardiologist but he said i am normal and it happens because of my anxity. However, I feel worried and it happens every two to three days.
Can i know that it is a cardio problem or gastritics problem?
Can be due to gastritis.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The symptoms which you have described can occur possibly be due to acute gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, hiatus hernia (in this a part of the stomach goes above the diaphragm – the muscular partition of chest and abdomen), acute inflammation of the gall bladder due to gallstones (cholecystitis) or acute pancreatitis.
An ultrasound should be done to rule out the possibility of gall bladder disease. Doing blood tests like serum amylase and lipase should help in ruling out pancreatitis.
A CECT scan of the upper abdomen is the gold standard test to rule out acute pancreatitis.
It makes sense to consult a gastroenterologist for the same .
Drugs like omeprazole and antacids along with prokinetic drugs like domperidone/itopride should help you in improving the symptoms.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.

In addition to that, i feel anxiety 1 to 2 times in a month. At that time, i am feeling worry for unknown and sad. If i feel like that i get fast heartrate and fullness in my chest. I felt like this since three years ago but not frequently at that time. The frequency is getting higher since the middle of last year. Is it related to the above or other causes?
Thank you...
The symptoms can be due to anxiety.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
The stress and anxiety that you have can cause gastritis and increase in heart rate. It is best to consult your physician and get a good anti anxiety drug prescribed with low day time sedation.
Hope my answer is helpful.

Can you please explain what does below mean in Echocardiogram report?
1. Trivial MR
2. Mild to moderate TR
3. Normal LV systolic function (EF=66%)
4. No regional wall motion abnormality
5. No pulmonary hypertension
6. No ASD, No VSD, No PDA.
Thanks again.
Just minor regurgitation of two valves.
Detailed Answer:
The echo report suggests a minor regurgitation of two of the heart valves with no major detrimental effect on the functioning of the heart. These are just minor changes and there is nothing to worry about.
Regards.

Does this mean the patient is at no risk of heart diesase? Does he/she should have any follow up related to this?
No major cardiac abnormality.
Detailed Answer:
This report does not suggest any major cardiac abnormality. However he needs to have a follow up with a cardiologist for clinical correlation.
Regards.
