What Causes Recurring Hard Bumps On The Shaft Of The Penis?

Please give details and post actual photographs if possible.
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
To recapitulate: Male/*34 - visited a Doctor - herpes on test - but you do not have - hard bumps on the shaft of penis - not numerous - 1/4'' to 1/8'' in size - like a hard mass and go away for a month - but then for no apparent reason come back - no head or mark to these just large bumps no STDs on blood work -
Please give me the following additional information to know:
- Since when have you got this problem?
- When the lesions come, for how much time the lesions remain present?
- Any remains once they go?
- Are the lesions attached to the under-surface of the skin or the skin moves over it?
- Do you have clear photographs, as the photos helps for on-the-spot diagnosis.
- Any other information that you would like to share like using condom, reaction to condom or any thing else like lubricants and some additional relevant history.
Awaiting for your feedback on all the points please.

No serial activity in the past year and no abnormal lubricants or anything like that, trying to figure out how to send a clear picture
Can be formation of fibrous tissues as you have explained.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your feedback.
My thoughts after reading your additional information.
- This may be a form of Peyronie's disease wherein there is formation of a hard fibrous tissue as you have mentioned that cause the swellings you are feeling.
The body reabsorbs this tissue over time and hence goes away.
- Since the exact cause of this condition is not known, the treatment is empirical in the form of anti-inflammatory medicines and oral steroids when indicated.
Multivitamins with Lycopene helps to reduce the swelling.
I hope this answer helps you.
Please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication...
