Brief Answer:
stop applying deodorants or any hair removal procedure

Detailed Answer:
Dear Patient,

Red bump in axillary area is most likely to be a bacterial infection. It usually occurs from a hair follicle infection resulting out from any application or pulling of hair due to waxing/epilation or due to constant friction especially in those who indulge in sports. I am not sure which of those may have caused it.

We can try a topical antibiotic cream that is available over the counter to relieve the symptoms; but if the thing doesn't subside a course of oral antibiotics and anti inflammatory is required. Oral antibiotics are prescription only medication therefore will require a visit to a medical professional.
