What Causes Red Rash On Soft Palate, Metallic Taste In Mouth And Burning Tongue?

Question: Hello 2 days ago I drank some coconut water with pineapple pulp with a straw . I drank a lot when I don't usually drink that much at a time. I also ate a couple pieces of cantaloupe that seems over ripe or had a bite to it so I ate a piece but threw rest away. I developed a red rash like on my soft palate and my tongue feels a little like burning sensation. The first day I had a kind of metallic taste in my mouth. Wgen I eat my throat feels like it had something in it. Ive gargled with water and essential oils. And took some benadryl ....not sure what this is. . Redness still there its been 48 hrs. Allergy or bacteria? Please help

If I were your treating doctor, I would advice you
Antiseptic Mouth Wash twice daily , Plenty of fluids ,
Antacid syrup ,
Tab Vitamin C & Multi vitamin and multi mineral syrup. Continue Benadryl.

You will get relief .

What is antacid syrup? Like pepto ? And what is mineral syrup?
