It is difficult to comment without examination, I would suggest you to either upload picture so as to provide with the proper advice after going through the picture or see a doctor for examination and exact diagnosis.
I would also suggest you not to diagnose on your own and do not take medicines without consultation.

Brief Answer:
Cold compression, see orthopedician if it persists after 3 to 4 days
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I have gone through the picture.
It does not appear anything serious.
Is there history of injury or insect bite. Gout is less likely as it commonly affects the great toe initially.
I would have asked you to apply a cold compress to the affected toe to reduce the swelling and ease any pain. It should reduce in two to three days based on the image.
If persists I would have considered a X ray of toe to rule out any hair line fracture. So I would suggest you to see orthopedician if it persists.
Take care
