Can A High Uric Acid Level Cause Headaches?

Can a high Uric acid level cause headaches. I suffer from crazy headaches after just a small amout of alchol (three small bottles of beer) and the headaches can last for about three or four days. Recently I suffered Gout after a weekend of a few beers, and I am believe there may be a connection

First of all, the high level of uric acid may be the result of poor kidney function. Poor kidney function can lead to hypertension. Thus, you should do kidney function tests to ensure that your kidneys work properly. Second, alcohol can affect the liver functions. Hence, you should stop taking alcohol.
