What Causes Red Vaginal Bleeding During Pregnancy After An Ultrasound?

Additionally, my progesterone levels were tested two days ago because I was having brown spotting. The level came back at 40+ (machine doesn't read above 40).
Lastly, due to my age, I think it is important to note that we used a donor egg (27 y/o) and not my own eggs.
It seems like the baby/fetus/embryo is healthy and that any issue is likely me or so I am assuming. I have had a prior miscarriage after seeing a heartbeat but that was due to chromosomal issues with my own egg.
Mostly threatened type miscarriage.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
According to information, it is MOSTLY suggestive of threatened miscarriage. Sometimes, bleeding may occur following vaginal ultrasound. However, I suggest you to repeat the ultrasound scan after ONE week for fetal viability.
In the mean time, you should take healthy protein rich diet, micronized PROGESTERONE supplements, complete BED rest and maintain genital hygiene properly. Additionally, I suggest to take Tranexamic Acid group of drug to arrest bleeding. Kindly, consult with your treating doctor for prescription.
Hope, this information is quite helpful to you. Kindly, close the discussion if you don't have any other query.
Wish your good health and take care yourself.

Hello,
Thanks for follow up query.
Threatened type miscarriage means any vaginal bleeding other than spotting during early weeks of pregnancy.
About one of every four pregnant women has some bleeding during the first few months. About half of these women stop bleeding and have a normal pregnancy.
The bleeding and pain associated with threatened miscarriage are usually mild. The cervical Os is also closed.
Hope, it helps to understand properly. Kindly, close the discussion.
