
What Causes Reddish Spot With White Center On Skin?

Question: I have a red spot with a milky white center and now it appears to have a whitish ring around it. It's the size of a drop.

Looks like an insect bite reaction

I have seen the attached picture .
The lesion looks allergic in origin .
Such a skin lesion can suddenly develop after an insect bite .
Do you have any associated itching or pain?
Application of a mild topical steroid like cortisone twice daily over the lesion should help .
Do not apply any other cream or oil over the affected area.
