Dear Kaarthik, Hi & Welcome.
Thanks for posting your query on Health Care Magic.
From the brief history given in your query you seem to be having some sort of irritation resulting in redness of the eyes and pricking sensation.
However, I need some more information so as to analyze your condition properly to give some suggestion like:
1. For how long you have been having this problem?
2. Do you have any allergy issue?
3. Any discharge or stickiness of the eye lashes in the morning or swelling of the eye lids?
4. Any associate fever, running nose or headache?
Awaiting your reply..
Best regards.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX Hi & Welcome back.
Thanks for your reply.
It is apparent from the history that you seem to have some sort of infection of the conjunctiva (conjunctivitis). I would suggest the following:
1. Instill antibiotic eye drops (like Moxifloxacin): 1-2 drops into affected eyes 3 times daily for 7 days.
2. Anti-inflammatory drug (like Tablet Ibuprofen 3 times daily after food for only the next 2-3 days).
3. Avoid using the contact lenses & use spectacles for 7 days. When you feel normal you can use the lenses again.
4. An ophthalmic consultation if symptoms do not improve.
5. Eye drop Refresh Tears 2 Drops in Both Eyes 4 hrly for the next 7 days
Hope the suggestions given above would be useful.
Wishing you best of your health.
