What Causes Redness On The Arms And Chest?
Question: Hello -- About a week ago, I noticed my skin on my arms and chest looking red and blotchy, underneath the surface, a bit mottled. I also noticed a couple of lumps on the back of my neck and side of my neck (perhaps enlarged lymph nodes?). Two days ago, I noticed my hands and fingers were a bit swollen, and my veins felt a bit constrained - like I could feel the blood pumping through them). Yesterday, the mottled skin/rash on my arms reappeared, and is also slightly on my legs. The swelling seems to be spreading to my arms and a bit to my feet and legs. I don't have a fever. I did have nausea a few days ago, but that may have been unrelated.
Brief Answer:
Need to be investigated
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
the first hand impression of the problem seems to be that of immunological.
You should consult a Immunologist and Dermatologist.
The causes have to be found for the said problem. It may be immunological reaction that the lymph nodes were enlarged at the back of the neck.
If needed a biopsy of the lymph nodes to ascertain the diagnosis.
It could be been a bit clear if you upload with a picture of the mottled rash on the chest and arms.
I suggest you to take an appointment with Immunologist.
