What Causes Redness On The Glans Penis After Using Hydrocortisone?

Question: I was diagnosed eczema on my glans. The doctor prescribed to me hydrocortisone 1% for two weeks.
The inflammation, scaling, itchiness and associated pain have all appeared to go away. Unfortunately there is still some redness/pink of the skin in this area.
Will the redness eventually go away? What can i do to speed this up?

Brief Answer:
Hello. Yes, this will resolve in time
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX This is a side effect of the cortisone cream and it will subside in another week or two.
For now I suggest vitamin E cream combined with calendula cream twice a day to speed up the process.
Please let me know if you need any more information.
