Brief Answer: Depression needs to be treated aggressively Detailed Answer: Hello, Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query. I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through. I understand that you have a bad depression but you have not mentioned the drugs that you are taking. The symptoms of restless legs and and sleep disturbance could be a manifestation of depression. Depression needs to be aggressively treated. Fluoxetine, escitalopram, mirtazapine etc are certain drugs for the treatment of depression. They need to be taken regularly over 6-8 months. If the symptoms are not settling with these drugs then these drugs need to be augmented with mood stabilizers such as valproate or lithium etc. There is no reason to say why depression is so bad for you. It occurs due to the deranged neurochemistry in the brain. The drugs used simply try to correct this chemical imbalance. Regarding your abdominal pain, USG abdomen would be an investigation of choice. The symptoms can occur with ureteric calculi as well. Also get a urine routine test done to look for the pus cells and RBC's. Try getting bacl to your doctor or us after the reports of USG test are available to you. Hope I am able to answer your concerns. If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you. If not, you may close the discussion and if possible you may rate the answer for me, so that I get a good feedback.
