What Causes Right-sided Lower Abdominal Pain And Irritation In Uterus?
Question: Hi I am experiencing abdominal pain in the right hand lower side. I suffer from a condition called irritable uterus and am having a hysterectomy in July. And my uterus is contracting all the time at the moment. This pain I'm feeling in my right side is different though. And I am having trouble with my bowls. I am also experiencing moments of sweating for no reason and chest pain. I also have had an iron transfusion yesterday. So I have been very tired and irritable.

Explained
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome
I appreciate your concern
Based on your description, the symptoms are most likely related to the uterus. However , if the pain is intense and not subsiding then other causes should be looked for. Urine examination, ultrasound abdomen /pelvis and complete blood count can be advised. ECG and basic metabolic panel should also be done.
To control the pain, antispasmodic like hyoscine butylbromide or dratoverine can be given along with NSAIDS such as naproxen or diclofenac.
