What Causes Right-sided Pulse Sensation In Jaw?
MIGHT BE TOOTH ACHE; SEE A PHYSICIAN
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Welcome to Healthcare magic.com
This is Dr. Swarnava Dattagupta answering your query.
First of all, I have a few questions for you-
How long has the problem been present?
Is there severe pain?
Does the pain radiate to somewhere else?
Has there been any trauma?
Now, what you have asked is pulsating jaw, we call it as temporomandibular pain or pulsation. It can have various reasons starting from local trauma, toothache due to caries etc, sinus infection, throat or ear infection, migraine attack to even rare presentations of a heart attack or increased blood pressure etc.
It cannot be diagnosed without examining you or doing a few tests. I would suggest you the following-
Take tab paracetamol 650 twice daily for 3 days.
Get your blood pressure monitored regularly.
Get blood for complete hemogram, lipid profile, blood sugar done.
Get an ECG done.
Consult your doctor for prescription of the above and get checked properly.
He would be able to tell you more.
Don't worry.
Hope I have answered your question.
