Brief Answer:
One diagnosis unlikely to explain all symptoms

Hi
Thanks for your question.
What do you mean by muscle weight?
Sagging skin is very common as we get older and other than plastic surgery t remove the excess skin there is really no cure. It would be important to make sure that you do not have excess skin because you are inadvertently loosing weight for which a cause should be sought if you are not dieting.
The pain that you are experiencing in your lower back radiating into your calfs and feet sounds very much like sciatica and could even be spinal claudication. These problems are caused by narrowing in the spinal canal and around the nerves to the legs. A diagnosis of these problems can be made using an MRI scan of the spine.
A change in bowel habit should be investigated by analysis of a stool sample and testing it for blood and infections. Basic blood work should be undertaken. Endoscopic assessment of the bowel should be undertaken both camera's down your food pipe and up your back passage as well as barium meals / enema and imaging either XR and/or CT scan.
The skin rashes could be related to the change in bowel habit as many auto-immune conditions can cause both.
I think it is unlikely that all of your problems could be explained by one diagnosis but all do require a full history and physical assessment by your Dr and the investigations outlined above if he deems them necessary.
I hope this helps
Best wishes
Hi. In my original query I mistakenly said I was experiencing muscle weight. I meant to say muscle waste.
Thank you for your quick reply to my inquiry. Do you have anything more to add in relation to my muscle waste. Perhaps I'm not properly absorbing the necessary vitamins/minerals to maintain muscle and weight.
Brief Answer:
Spinal problems can cause muscle wasting

Hi
Thanks for the clarification. This makes more sense. Yes muscle wasting can be caused by the spinal problems and nerve entrapement that I have described but also by a lack of protein absorption or protein loss from your bowel. I would encourage you to have these issues addressed as per my previous answer. I hope you find your way back to good health.
Best wishes
