What Causes Scrotal Tightening?
Also, If I first had a swollen tongue prior to sexual contact, is it possible that I could have first passed the same "thing" to her from oral foreplay (mouth to vagina)? And then a week after foreplay and intercourse, we had sexual intercourse the second time and her wetness was noted on my scrotum and the tightening and wrinkle took place as described above. There are no visual signs on my tongue, but I can feel swelling within my tongue. I do not want to confuse the two symptoms, but I am curious if the two could be related to one another? I did not notice the swelling of the tongue right away, as I noticed the immediate scrotum tightening.
I had tongue swelling about two months prior to having oral foreplay/sexual intercourse for the first time with the above woman. And a week after our first oral foreplay (and first intercourse) we had sexual intercourse for the second time. The second intercourse (a week later) is when the scrotum wrinkled and tightened. I did not experience the scrotum tightening during the first time we had intercourse, however we did have oral foreplay (mouth to vagina) a week prior. Then a week after foreplay (mouth to vagina), we had intercourse, which her wetness caused my scrotum to tighten and wrinkle. Could I first have passed it from oral foreplay (mouth to vagina), and then a week later, the same woman pass it back to my scrotum (vagina wetness to scrotum)?
Another reason that I brought up my tongue swelling as a possibility of transfer is because I had sexual contact (oral foreplay and intercourse) with different woman two months prior to having sexual contact with the above woman. I am not for sure, but I thought it might be a good observation.
I’ve had hereditary liver problems from hemochromatosis (extra iron production) and another genetic problem causing blood clots in the lungs. I do not believe this caused swollen tongue, however it is worth noting since the liver can cause many medical concerns. My blood iron is 8 times higher than normal.
Thank you
Scrotal Tightening is probably not related to sexual activity. Could be related to hemochromatosis
Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,
I understand your concern.
The scrotal tightening even though noticed immediately after the sexual intercourse is possibly not related to it in my opinion.
I have such a reason to say because, you have a given a significant medical history of Haemochromatosis.
This Haemochromatosis has large propensity to affect the genitals and scrotal skin
It’s also highly unlikely for the sequence of passage you mentioned from tongue-vagina-scrotum for the scrotal tightening.
There is only a likely possibility of transmission of infections, if any via the above said route, but not pathological process of tightening.
You can relatively free your mind regarding the possible sexual transmission.
All I advise you is to currently have a Scrotal ultrasound Doppler to rule out any new pathology (of the testis or its surrounding tissue causing retraction of the skin) related to hemochromatosis.
To Conclude I would like to clarify that this acute onset scrotal tightening in your case, is not related to sexual transmission.
Since the process of tightening has lasted for 3 weeks for so, it is recommended that you meet an Endocrinologist and an Urologist.
Meanwhile topical application of Dew Gel can be helpful to relieve the tightening.
Post your further queries, if any.
Thank you.
I am confident that the wrinkled and tightening of my scrotum is not an STD and very likely be the result of hemochromotosis. My girlfriend had STD tests and Pap smear which all tests resulted negative except for Candida albicans yeast infection which is not an STD. Since hemochromotosis affects the scrotum so much, could hemochromotosis also cause the scrotum be more vulnerable to what normally would be considered "non-threatening" such as yeast infection? It was a very strange feeling when the tightening of the right side of my scrotum was in the same place as her wetness was after intercourse. And even today, the same tightness/wrinkle on the right scrotum (three weeks later) is more prominant than the remaining scrotum. I will seek my Primary Health Care Doctor to request an ultrasound Doppler of my scrotum. I hope to provide my DR with relative information regarding one area being more wrinkled than the other.
You replied that an infection could be passed, but not causing the tightening. I understand that yeast is an "infection", and would normally not cause wrinkle/tightening. Since my scrotum is vulnerable to hemochromotosis, should I still rule out that a yeast infection could cause the wrinkle/tightening more on one scrotum area than the other?
Do you have any opinion regarding the swollen tongue? There is no visual signs, but only noticed inside the tongue. Could the tongue swelling also be a result from Hemochromotosis?
Thank you
Hemochromatosis can lead to swollen tongue.
Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir.
I understand your query and concern.
1.Yes hemochromatosis(or for that matter, any systemic disease in general) would also increase the vulnerability to fungal infections of the genitals particularly Yeast infection.
2.Yes certainly Yeast infection can be passed to you from your partner.
But having said that,it is no where responsible in causing skin tightness.
Both conditions are quite unrelated and incompatible.
Yeast Infection on genitals presents with intense itching and curd like white discharge. No where it causes acute scrotal skin tightening.
3.Swollen tongue(perceived on touch) in your case is once again a classical manifestation of Hemochromatosis.
As the disease progress the swollen tongue is noted even on visual inspection alone referred to as Macroglossia.
A complete consultation with the said doctors will be very helpful.
Post your further queries,if any.
Thank you.
